fachwerk suggestions

I am an architecture student doing a project on fachwerk buildings. It was my hope that you could suggset a historical building that plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural information could be easily obtained from which to build a model. Many thanks for whatever help you could give.

may be you should contact Mr. Hans Tisje, Planungsbüro Tisje, Platanenweg 7,
D-63263 Neu-Isenburg, Tel./Fax +49 6102 327419. He is the one who built most of
the models in the monograph of Manfred Gerner: "Fachwerk-Entwicklung, Gefüge,
Instandsetzung"; Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt(1994), ISBN3-421-03053-7.
And he did the dendrochonology on our little farm-house: By the way, if it does
not need to be a famous building, you could build o u r house from 1783 which
you easily could measure out (there are actually some interesting ratios in
lengths as the golden mean and it is possible to determine the local "foot"
unit from its dimensions...) if you once came to Mühlheim am Main. Where do you
live?
